    Choose from a morning or afternoon Quad Bike safari, and benefit from a hotel pick-up from Rethymno, Bali, or Georgiopoulis. Journey to the base in Rethymno town and get kitted out with all the necessary equipment. Listen to a detailed briefing before you set off for some serious off-road fun. Journey up into the mountains of Maroulas, and head for the summit for a 10-minute break to take in the panoramic views. Then, continue on your bike for another 20 minutes to reach a spot where you can relax over coffee at a traditional kafeneion (Greek coffee house).

    Soak up the peace and quiet of Café Gidospito overlooking beautiful Lake Potami before making your way to the picturesque village of Prassies for a quick snack to refuel after your Quad Bike experience.

    Return to Rethymno and get dropped off at your hotel to relax and freshen up after your dusty adventure.

    • Each quad is for 2 people, if you would like single quads, please make a separate booking for each person
    • Every group of 2 is a double quad with 1 driver and 1 passenger. If they both people own a driving license they can switch in every stop
    • Every group of 3 is 2 drivers 1 passenger
    • Please bring your driving license
    • Vegetarian snacks are also available. Please advise at time of booking if required
    • The minimum age to drive is 18 years old. Those aged 4 years and above can travel as passengers
    • This tour is not recommended for participants with heart problems, back problems or pregnancy

    We were picked up at 8:40 a.m., right in front of our hotel. A week earlier, we were notified of the most important information on WhatsApp and were able to flexibly reschedule our appointment. Upon arrival at Discovery Safaris there was a detailed briefing and then it started. At first we stayed mostly on paved roads, but soon we found ourselves on the off-road route for a long time. It was a lot of fun and you had several opportunities to take turns with your partner if they both ride a quad. Simon (our guide) always looked after the whole group and provided us with lots of information at each station as well as provisions. Discovery Safaris is definitely an operator that is not only reliable, but also offers a lot.

    This was an incredible experience. I was alone (and female) and never rode a quad before. The terrain is a bit challenging, and some of the mountain ledges you are driving on are very narrow, high, and with steep drop offs. But the instructors Were so very kind and patient with anyone who was afraid or having a difficult time in any way. If you want some adrenaline and STUNNING views, I highly recommend.
