My wife and I had a wonderful afternoon with Evie. We toured the rustic village, prepared some food and dined outdoors in the courtyard overlooking the valley and could see Heraklion off in the distance. There were just the two of us and it was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

This is the best activity we did our entire trip. Mary was an incredible guide. We loved the tour of the village and folklore museum. It was fascinating to learn this history. But the cooking and eating was brilliant! We learned so many techniques to improve our Greek cooking once we get home. The view is spectacular and everyone was so nice- 12/10, we would go again.

My husband and I decided to do this cooking class as a part of our honeymoon trip. Though we did not realize it originally, it was a private cooking class just for us! It started off with a tour of the village and some history about the traditional Cretan way of life. The food we made was all amazing and tasted fresh, we just made so much it was hard to eat everything! Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. To top it off, we got to eat our creations out on the patio with an amazing view of Heraklion and the sea. We absolutely enjoyed our day and highly recommend this activity for anyone looking to learn a little more about Cretan food and history!
