Discover one of the New Seven Wonders of the World with a magnificent guided expedition to the forgotten Inca city of Machu Picchu. Take the opportunity to discover landmark attractions such as the Temple of the Sun and the terraced fields of the agricultural sector. Take the famous picture from the observatory with the lost citadel behind. At the end of the tour, the bus will take you back to Aguas Calientes where you can explore the city before boarding your train back to Ollantaytambo. Hi! The bus trip to the train and the train journey to Machu Picchu (enjoyed the train!) were good but sadly the return journey on both were not. The return train compartment had a constant movement which stopped even tea or coffee being offered and the return journey in the van was very cramped. I believe that there is an option to take the train right back to Cusco? If we had known about this we would definitely have opted for this. Our guide was great, he was very informative and a nice chap. We really enjoyed our experience and have recommended to all (who have listened!) that they need to follow in our footsteps. Thank you!

Although we were already prept that it was going to be a long tour of an “all day tour” what fell short to our perception was the fact that all went as plan, or better until the scheduled train back to Cusco, that even spending time in a long lunch-dinner, we still had to wait around for 3 hours! This could have been scheduled to my opinion in better way from the professionals that do this for a living. As I mentioned before the pick up, transportation to Oyantaytamo to take the train, the train as expected, the guide at pick up in Aguascalientes went as planned. But the guide Jan was OUTSTANDING!!! KUDOS for him.!!! But waisting 3+ hours of vacación time is a killer. I think we could have been scheduled in a earlier train

Two days before the trip a friendly stuffmember brought all the tickets (train, bus and entrance to ruins) to our hotel in Cusco. We started the tour in Ollantaytambo after an different tour through the secret valley. An other stuffmember walked with us from hotel to trainstation and leaded us into the train. In Aguas Caliente another person picked us up at the trainstation and leaded us to the hotel. We felt in good hands very much. After one night sleep we were picked up early and met in the office. From here the bus starts up to the ruins. The tour was around two hours, sadly with some rain. Our guide spoke English pretty fast, but not so loud. It was not so easy to follow up for us. After the tour we hiked alone on top of Wayna Picchu. The day was great, even with the rain! The Organisation was very flexible matching our plans, thank you!
