3 times more expensive compared to the other offer for the same sights, but it is definitely worth it. Perfect arrangements for pick-up at the hotel. Private transport and guiding from start to finish, and as it is a long drive we felt that was a very good choice. Even multiple stops on request to take photos. The drive through the desert is fascinating, and the monastery has a wonderful collection. An amazing collection of frescoes and books in very good condition... in the middle of the desert. Dahab is also very picturesque, perhaps the Ibiza of the past. I would have loved to stay there for a few days. The guide was a very kind and caring man, who even, in all discretion, made a donation to the monastery. If you want a lot of information about the monastery, it is best to google it yourself. In addition to each museum piece, there is a good explanation. At the early hour there were still few visitors and there was a blissful, quiet atmosphere. Recommended.
