  • From Split and Trogir: 5 Islands and Blue Cave Day Trip

    1. From Split and Trogir: 5 Islands and Blue Cave Day Trip

Visit 5 of Croatia’s islands in style with a fun-filled day trip by speedboat. Head on an adventure where you explore caves, swim and snorkel, and discover Dalmatian towns.  Choose either Trogir or Split as your starting point. And best of all, choose from either a small-group or private experience.  Cruise on a 90-minute speedboat journey to reach your first stop, the Blue Cave. Explore the cave in a small fishing boat as you take in its famous crystal blue waters.  Next up is a visit the island of Vis for you to explore the village of Komiža in 1 hour of free time. Discover the traditional Dalmatian fishing village with its narrow streets, pebble beaches, and inviting promenade.   Swing by Stiniva Cove next, accessing the cove at the sunniest time of the day for a quick 15-minute dip. Then head to Budikovac Island for your next activity: snorkeling and swimming in the Blue Lagoon....

This experience was fantastic, and would happily do it again. The first stop was the blue cave which was stunning, the initial speedboat ride to get there was long so be prepared, but fun! The next stops were beautiful and we were there just the right amount of time. The blue lagoon was nice, but overrated I think and the beach is pebbled so a bit rough on the feet. We were lucky as we had perfect weather which made the boat ride perfectly fine but I can imagine it could be pretty rough weather dependant. Would definitely recommend this trip and Mario and Elena were fantastic.

Maximum 8 people on our trip, we just had a group of 6 and it was wonderful. Air conditioning, knowledgeable guide, and he even took a detour on the way back to allow us to visit a winery in what used to be a train station in Ravno (one of the first villages to be destroyed in the Bosnian war) horrible history, but cannot be forgotten or ignored as it was in most of our lifetimes. Great day out! Such an easy way to see the national park. Mijo was a great tour guide. He’s funny, quick witted and knows his stuff. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned, discounted entry to the national park and then time to ourselves to explore the waterfalls freely. The boat cruise and Skradin were a lovely touch, a pebbled beach to chill on with lots of food around. If you want a tour that isn’t strict on schedule and has more freedom, I’d highly recommend this!

Fantastic experience. My guides were friendly, helpful and fun. The trip involved amazing scenery and the boat ride was a blast. Just the right mix of excitement but still comfortable. So many pretty views, swimming in an amazing location and lunch in Hvar. Well worth the money. Go for it!
