The tour included not only the history of the RFDS, but also the bombing of Darwin in 1942. Hologram presentations and virtual reality experiences really brought the exhibitions to life and complemented the static displays. It was fun to actually sit in a plane formerly used by the RFDS and listen to recordings of real-life conversations between medical and flight staff as a patient was transported to hospital. I enjoyed my visit very much and thought it was great value for money.
We gad an enthusiastic and well informed tour guide on both the bus and boat sections. A very detailed presentation was given at each stop that was most enjoyable - and a trip around Darwin that helped us get our bearings!
Our guide Rob was very knowledgeable loved discovering things I had no idea happened! The harbour cruise was fabulous!
Extensive trip around the WWII sites with our knowledgeable guide Rob. Informative cruise around harbour sights.
Very well presented. I felt the plane, pilot and patient experience was well done
