Bring your sense of humour, Damo and Lars are the epitome of ‘Occa’ The guys are extremely knowledgeable and created an all round pretty good experience. The only way I could have been any closer to a big old crocodile was if I got in the water with it! Saved me the need to visit another establishment. The falls and pools were astounding; crystal clear and a well needed refresher from the weather. The only thing I was disappointed by was not visiting the Adelaide Cemetery and that we didn’t go to the termite mounds, as such, but we did stop to look at a singular one (to be honest, I think I was the only one who noticed these exclusions). I’d definitely recommend Litchfield Adventures.
The tour was a good introduction to the Kakadu and NT history. The cruise along Yellow Waters billabong was beautiful with lots of bird spotting along the shorelines. The lunch was a little underwhelming; consisting of cold cuts and salads, I also missed out on the scenic flight optional even though I was one of the first people to place my name in cue. Would of preferred more time to explore Nourlangie independently as this part felt a little rushed.
This tour was excellent; Daz arrived at the pickup point on time and throughout the day enlightened us with knowledge of the land and history, coupled with lighthearted jokes. The jumping crocodiles were amazing, us being lucky enough to see up to 5 crocs and lots of bird life along the river bed. The waterfalls and swimming opportunities were lovely and refreshing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the NT.
What an amazing day. Early pick up but missed the crowds on the river for the Jumping Crocs. Lars and Jamo are fabulous guides, good humor and lots of stories. Great local knowledge and learnt a lot. Would thoroughly recommend this tour. We also did an AAT tour, what a welcome difference, customer experience was at the forefront of Litchfield Escapes . Thank you so much for a great day.
Absolutely brilliant, a totally fun day filled with adventure, the croc cruise was amazing, the waterfalls and swimming holes superb, beautiful lunch, super friendly and knowledgeable guides, highly recommend this tour Lorraine Brisbane
