    Great transportation and punctuality, the tour guide was brilliant, there was enough time to explore the ruins properly and to explore the museum, the restaurant we went to was very nice too.

    The guide was a useful addition to our day but could have given more detail about the sites. The presenter sounded like he was just reading and occasionally pronounced words wrong which was a bit annoying.

    Travel back in time on a 2-day tour to the archaeological site of Delphi and the historic Orthodox monasteries built on the rocks of Meteora. Day 1: Depart Athens for the ancient site of the Oracle of Delphi. Travel by air-conditioned coach through the pretty towns and villages of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Explore the ruins of the ancient sanctuary of Pythia on arrival. Then, continue to Kalabaka for your overnight stay. Day 2: Marvel at the stunning rock formations of Meteora, and visit the monasteries built to serve the monks and nuns following the teachings of the Eastern Orthodox Church. Return to Athens via Trikala and Lamia. Stop at Thermopylae to look at the monument to the Greek warrior king Leonidas I before your arrival in Athens in the early evening.

    We had a fabulous time. Everything was perfect and Martina, our guide, was full of knowledge. The hotel was great (we went first class), although at first we had a twin instead of a double. We were able to arrange a swap with the hotel. The only thing we’d change would be to have a toilet on the bus and to stop at a different lunch place coming home (food was very ordinary, high pressure selling and really only main course meals - all we wanted was a sandwich or roll. Other than that - fabulous!

    The tour guide was excellent with History knowledge of the landmark. The choice of restaurant and hotel was good. The tour guide really understand what the tourist want and stop at the most beautiful place for us to take photo.
