Denver: Glacier Hike and Geothermal Cave Pools
- Small group
- Duration: 8 hours
Hike up to St. Mary's Glacier, ascending through the stunning Colorado Forest and ending with breathtaking panoramic lake views. With swimming and sledding included, this 1.5-mile hike is a popular hike in Colorado. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Beau Jo's Mountain Pizza in Idaho Springs, which has been around since 1880 and is one of Colorado's hidden gems. Idaho Springs has a population of 1,717 people, and is a gold-mining town founded in 1859 during the Gold Rush. Following lunch, your tour visits another historic landmark where you can soak in the natural geothermal cave pools, perfect for sore muscles after hiking.

My friend and I were visiting CO and wanted to hike without worrying where to go and what to do. Tyler and Bree were amazing guides!! They were so fun, accommodating and friendly. I cannot say enough great things about this tour and the guides. I am looking forward to my next trip to CO and tour with Adventure Colorado Tours!
Tyler, our guide, was super nice. I couldn't have picked a better tour to see as much as I did in my short 2 days stay in Denver. The mountains, lake, waterfalls, glacier, geothermal pools and the town we stopped in for lunch were all so picturesque. I will use A.C.T. again on my next trip there.
From start to finish Noah was the best tour guide; he genuinely loves what he does! Denver has the most nice people so far I have met and Noah is just a prime example of that. Next time me and my friend come to Denver I’ll be sure to book a tour again!
We had a blast. Such an awesome experience and will definitely use this company again if we are in town. Breanne felt like we were just hanging with one of our girl friends exploring together.
