When Tim arrived at the meeting point at King Street, he smiled and said "it's just you today, so we're off!" The tour could have easily been cancelled, so greatly appreciated that they honored the booking! Tim is incredibly knowledgable about the entire area and history, and the many layers that play into the Lake District and the sites we visited. My brother-in-law grew up in the Lake District, and appreciated Tim's perspective and information - as well as the times he would stand back and just let me drink in the scenery. We were able to accomplish so much in a day but it didn't feel rushed. Thank you for such a wonderful introduction to the lakes and villages - we'll be back and for the Beatrix Potter tour!
