Explore the attractive island of Kos and admire white sandy beaches, crystal-clear water and idyllic mountain villages. Start above the city of Kos and visit Asklepieion. It is reported that the origins of this former temple date back to around the 4th century BC. The former temple consists of three levels and was once the place for the foundation stone of modern medicine, because there Hippocrates wrote the oath of the same name, which has survived to this day. Drive on to the small village of Antimachia and see an old windmill and a traditional farmhouse. Continue through olive groves and unspoilt countryside to the Kefalos peninsula. Admire the island's most beautiful beaches and enjoy a Greek lunch (optional) in the picturesque Kamari Bay or take advantage of the opportunity for a short refreshment in the crystal clear sea. Another highlight of the eventful day is a visit to the ty...

With a private transfer arranged for you, arrive at Vlicha Beach, the starting point of this sea kayaking activity located on the east side of the island close to the town of Lindos. After paddling across the coastline, passing beautiful rock formations and hidden caves, you will reach Lindos with its small cubic whitewashed houses. Enjoy a tasty nutritious lunch at a seaside tavern on the beach consisting of natural, homemade Greek dishes and then start hiking uphill wandering through the city’s small and picturesque alleys. Learn about and visit the Temple of Lindian Athena and then paddle to St. Paul’s Bay, known for its unique beauty and protected environment. This activity ends by paddling back to the starting point. You will then be driven back to your pick-up location. Plan your vacation in Rhodes and explore the hidden treasures from the sea level of the Mediterranean.
This was a must do whilst in Rhodes and the highlight of our trip. A fabulous day offering chance to see much of the coastline and wonderful bags of Rhodes as well as fitting in a trip to Lindos and a visit to the Acropolis. The team were so friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble and everything was done at our own pace. The lunch we had at the traditional Greek restaurant in Lindos was fabulous and the food was so fresh and tasty. This is such a good experience I can not recommend it enough and for all that’s included is exceptional value. Thank you so much Jimmy Maria and George! COVID measures in place and well adhered to also.
The tour starts with pick-up from your location and driving you to Vlicha, a seaside village located next to Lindos, on the east coast of Rhodes. At the start of the trail, following mainly dirt roads, you leave behind you the buzz of the busy road, and move towards the west. Soon enough you walk under mature pine trees, whose existence is clearly surprising on this dry rocky land around Lindos. You then follow a trail that passes on the foothill of vertical limestone slope and afterward visit an impressive cave and admire the remains of agricultural life – somehow forgotten here nowadays. Finally, the hike reaches its highest point and is time for some fantastic pictures of “Navarone Bay” with its azure colored water, or even some meditation on how beautiful this endless sea is. After some walking downhill, you will experience the first glimpse of the hill where the Acropolis of Lindo...
