The pick-up was exactly on time and the trip to the park was really nice, with good air conditioning and happy conversations with the guide. Edward (guide) was so open to talk and answering questions, and took good care of the group so no one was left behind. The places were really nice and accessible, we had some older people in the group and they could do everything in the trip, even the most difficult parts. The food for lunch was very good in the chosen place and the return trip was also very nice, they left me at the door of my stay. Also, they offered us water bottles in every stop so we could stay hydrated.

I had a conference in Berlin and wanted to find a hiking adventure nearby. I was picked up from Dresden-Neustadt along with a couple of others. This trip was beyond what I expected! Our tour guide, Eduard was great and knowledgeable. You will be surprised with all the things that you will do. The first two hikes were lovely with a boat ride and a stunning view of the Basteii. Lunch and a drink were included at the top of the hill. The third hike requires some stamina if you haven’t hiked in awhile. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring a tank top if the weather gets warm, and a layer incase it gets chilly. The group was very international. Half of us were from Dresden and half were from Prague. We got to mingle with each other a lot during the trip. Although I traveled by myself, I felt very warm and felt connected with everyone. This tour was excellent! Jan still offered the tour even though I was the only one who signed up that day. Because it was just the two of us and we were hiking quickly, he offered a longer alternate route that was great. Jan was really easy to talk to and is super knowledgable about the area. I loved the views at Bastei Bridge. The arch had a great view too and we enjoyed a beer at the top before heading to lunch. The lunch had plenty of options even for vegetarians and was delicious and filling. The boat tour was pretty and Jan translated all the info into English that the boat tour guide gave in Czech. It's obvious that Jan has been doing this a long time. He has great relationships with all the service workers you encounter on the tour and it's so organized you don't have to do any thinking or planning. It was such an easy day where he did all the work and I just got to admire the scenery and hang out. It was an excellent tour and I would definitely recommend it!
