We thought it would be crowded and there would a limit on the number of people while visiting the Dubai Aquarium, which was not the case. We added on some more things by paying extra at the counter. Decent Aquarium, not out of the world. The underwater Zoo and Penguin Cove was better than the aquarium. We added penguin encouter at an extra price after reaching there, which was very enjoyable. There were encounters available with different animals in the Zoo at an added price should you be interested.

If you would like to see many different fishes then YES go to the aquarium. If you would like to see something more like the shark ponds or penguins buy this add on ticket. Diving with the sharks is also an option (next time). If you are looking for the free visit, look at the aquarium from a slightly larger distance during the shopping.

This is great for any family or individual. I recommend adding one of the extras to see what goes on behind the scenes in relation to the work the aquarium does regarding feeding the many fish and other animals, the reproduction of some of the aquarium species, and how they help to protect the environment. My further recommendation is to take your time going through the aquarium and underwater zoo to fully appreciate what it has to offer.
