We booked it the same day and had no issues whatsoever. You make the line and wait for your turn, most likely it will not be the time you pick because the boat fits 6 to 8 people. They take you around the fountain and when is show time the boats are parked so you can see the water show.

I’ve been the burj lake twice and this was the first time watching the fountain display from the boat which was absolutely amazing. It was definitely worth the price & I would highly recommend. However, more information should be available regarding travelling to the mall which can take over an hour during busy times. On arrival at the mall there was limited signage to locate the ticket office and when we finally did find “on the top” the queues where lengthy. We then arrived at the lake which was chaos and overall we was an hour late for our ride. It was that chaotic that nobody noticed and we was let on the boat. To avoid the overwhelming stress please add 2 hours to your journey to get to the mall and collect your tickets.

We were to go to Dubai Mall to get tickets for the water fountain display and boat ride. Keep in mind it is the biggest Mall in the world. It was packed with people, it was utterly impossible to find the location where the tickets were. An hour later when we arrived to the ticket location we had to stand in line for another 15 or 20 min. We then got the tickets and was poorly directed through a maze to find the actual boat ride location. There we stood in Line another 30 minutes and eventually boarded the boat. Now the actual boat ride and water fountain display was 10-stars. It was magical!
