Full description

Discover the key whiskey and beer districts Dublin on a guided tour through iconic areas like College Green, Temple Bar, Financial District, River Liffey, and the High Courts. Enjoy a private tour of Guinness Storehouse and have a pint of Guinness at the Gravity Bar. Sample some whiskey at the Jameson Distillery.

Meet your guide at your hotel after breakfast and board your luxury transport with just your private group and settle in for a comfortable ride. Your whiskey expert host will give commentary on board as you travel through many districts of Dublin.

Start with a private visit to Guinness Storehouse. Most people who visit this attraction are on a self-guided ticket, but your expert host will give you a private tour and will guide you through the brewing process and the history all the way to the Gravity Bar for a pint of Guinness.

Travel across the River Liffey to Smithfield which is next to the original home of Jameson Irish Whiskey. John Jameson started distilling his famous whiskey here in 1780 and today the Jameson visitor center in the old distillery buildings is one of the most popular attractions in the city.

Enjoy a saunter around the old brewhouse with your host while you enjoy a Jameson cocktail before joining the Bow St. Experience with other Jameson fans for a tour and whiskey tasting.

Finish the tour with drop-off at the door of your Dublin city hotel and your host will share his/her recommendations on good places to dine and drink in Dublin, and in Ireland over the rest of your stay.

We had booked the tour for Sunday. John called us in advance and asked if there were any questions or requests. He picked us up right at the hotel on time and started the tour with us. He showed us various sights along the way and was also able to explain the history of them. He gave us in-depth and professional knowledge about the city, country, politics and history. He also responded to our not so good English, he spoke very clearly and slowly. The car he drove us in was very clean and well maintained. At the end he asked us about our further plans for the day and for the holiday itself and gave us suitable tips for it. We will definitely recommend this tour.

This was a really cool experience. John was an excellent guide. Communication was great. It was nice to get an insider's perspective on the drive over to the tours. John was able to provide a nice dialog and history of Dublin and Whiskey in general. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Absolutely superb

John made this tour absolutely brilliantly and was able to provide us with alot of history on Irish whiskey. It was very personal and he provided transport to and from the locations on the tour. Really lovely person and choose Jameson and Teeling distilleries as the main attractions which are 2 excellent venues and tours at ech were superb. We enjoyed every minute of it at it was 5 hours long. We tasted a fair few whiskeys over the course of the 5 mins plus had the opportunity to buy more at each location we visited. So make sure you have a fully stomach when doing this tour. Highly recommended to anyone with an interest in whiskey whether your Irish or from abroad. It's well worth the money and day out. Left extremely happy and learned alot I didn't know about whiskey. I will definitely be booking another tour and no doubt itll be just as good if not better.
