Full description
East and west met in this country and remained together for nearly 600 years. Ever since it became part of Ottoman empire, Bosnia changed into a country full of contrasts. This tour gives unique opportunity to meet neighboring country, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1 day, a country full of cultural diversities and contrasts often called country where east and west meet and live together, enriched with oriental Turkish influence, since it was a part of Ottoman empire for nearly 400 years. Don't miss the visits to mosques from the 16th century, oriental architecture and the famous UNESCO protected Old Bridge, rebuilt after the war and a masterpiece of oriental art. Together with the Old Bridge and the oriental side of Mostar, you will learn about the recent history of this region, the devastating war, and what life is like today in the small Balkan country. Optional stops on this tour are Počitelj, small oriental settlement or a 45-minute stop at Kravice waterfalls. Don't miss exploring the oriental side of the region, visit the third most visited European sanctuary and try some continental food or enjoy turkish coffee.

The tour itself is good but there is a lot of time picking up/dropping off everyone, as well as at the border crossings. You only get one hour at the waterfall and 45 minutes stopped at roadside areas with no historic value. I wish there was more time at the waterfalls and less time at Mostar. However it would be awful to do this driving by yourself. Bring something to do/read on the bus.

Fantastic tour well organized in every detail with: Marija n.1

Unexpected truly UNMISSABLE tour, impeccable tour of almost 10 hours, accompanied by Marija a super, truly professional and brilliant guide, very prepared, very attentive to us participants of almost all nationalities, she even explained the tour in 2 languages Spanish / English at the same time, in a clear and detailed way, a super-energetic and empathetic person, nice, difficult to meet. A beautiful and demanding tour given the 10 hours, but thanks to her it was engaging and beautiful. We even crossed the border from Dubrovnik to Mostar 3 times, also passing through Medjiugorie which interested me in particular, also the Kravitz waterfalls and finally Mostar with the 2 ancient bridges not to be missed, the 10 hours took x strength and flew thanks also to the guide who is a fundamental figure for me on a tour. Not to be missed with Marija as a guide. Hello

The trip was perfectly organized from the pick-up to the return to the hotel. Both the driver, the tour leader and the guide who led us through Mostar were very friendly.
