Full description

Start your tour with complimentary early-morning pickup from your hotel or nearest possible location to your accommodation in Dubrovnik. Once everyone has been picked up, drive by bus or van to the Croatian/Montenegrin border crossing.

After border control is done, enjoy a coffee break, at your own expense, before heading to the port, where you will embark on a boat to start your adventure. The boat will first take you to the artificial island of Our Lady of the Rocks to visit the beautiful monument in the heart of the bay.

From there, proceed to the old town of Kotor, the most important Venetian port built on this side of the Adriatic coast with impressive 4.5-kilometer-long city walls, that have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979.

Kotor is located on the only natural fjord of its kind in the world and visiting this town is about more than beautiful views, it’s also about experiencing the cultural heritage of Boka Kotorska Bay.

When you arrive, you will have around 2.5 hours of free time to see the most important monuments in the old town. From Kotor, continue your tour by coach and visit the charming town of Perast. Here, enjoy some free time for lunch and for a walk in the small beautiful village.

Enjoy the Venice-like architecture which includes sixteen Baroque palaces, seventeen Catholic churches, several important Orthodox structures, and a series of nine defensive towers, all set in stone and seemingly untouched.

Return back to Dubrovnik from Perast by air-conditioned bus or van. You will be dropped off from where you were picked up in the morning.

The tour agenda is perfect withbaome time in Perast and more time in Kotor. Bus to Perast, the boat to Kotor , then bus back to Dubrovnik was a nice variety. MARIA is an excellent tourguide and shares all the history and politic of the Balkans. I highly recommend. VERY GOOD VALUE

The excursion was first class, efficient pick-up in the morning and drop-off in the evening very quickly. You travel to the border in a 40-person bus and stop for 20 minutes for the toilet, coffee or shopping. Then you drive a long time along the Kotor Bay, which is really impressive. The short 45 minute stop in Perast was nice, but unnecessary. Then you take a boat with a top guide over a beautiful island to Kotor. I would not have imagined the city to be so impressive! Venetian, Roman history, great palaces, churches, squares within a preserved city wall. We had 3 hours and used this for a short climb to the fortress for wonderful views of the city and the bay. Some cutthroat decided to take 8 EUR off everyone. the view was great, but the admission price was outrageous. Everyone has to know for themselves ... Then we had a good lunch. Prices are touristy, but ok. We were back around 6:30 p.m. Top

Andrea and nick/ Nico were amazing guides - not only did they go above and beyond but they offered the tour in over 3 languages. You can tell they love their Job and wanted everyone to have a great time. One of the best tours I’ve been on for history, culture and just pure beauty. Everything was fabulous!
