The guide was super attentive and so was his partner. We lost the ticket to the castle and they let us in without any problem. The castle was not what I expected but the guide's explanations were what we liked the most and made us like the castle a little more.

Alister was a wonderful guide. He was entertaining and informative. He made sure all tour participants were gathered before starting to tell about each stopping point so no one missed anything. He has a deep knowledge of his subject but knew how to edit that knowledge down to the tour time constraints but made himself available after the tour if anyone wanted more information about any particular point he made during the tour.

Fantastic guide. Very prompt meeting time and very efficient. Took us up the Royal Mile to the Castle and giving us plenty of information along the way. Once at the Castle there didn't seem to be anything he didn't know about the history of the Castle or Edinburgh itself. Quite comical at times too so made you feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and book another trip with them in the future.
