What people are saying about Egyptian Museum of Antiquities

My wife & I booked a private tour through the "Get Your Guide" app. We were lucky enough to be assigned Ahmed Elsayed. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, well spoken and passionate about his job. If you book a tour, I recommend that you specifically request Ahmed Elsayed. Highlights of the Cairo tour included riding camels at the second viewing point at the pyramids where all three are in view. In addition, the museum was filled with extremely impressive artifacts. We actually ended up booking a second tour with Ahmed Elsayed two days later to Alexandria. On that tour we visited the Kim al-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel, the Alexandria Library and had a lovely meal on the waterfront.

This trip was absolutely amazing. We were picked up on time at 3.45 from our hotel and taken to the airport for out flight to Cairo. When we arrived we were greeted by out tour Guide Gabri who was so friendly, was very knowledgeable and was just amazing. It was too early for the pyramids so Gabri took us for a local breakfast and so tea. We then went to the pyramids and had a camel ride. Next we went to the Spinx and then the papayas museum followed by lunch. After lunch we went to a perfume shop and then the museum. We paid extra for an early flight so after we never went to the market but went to the airport. What an amazing day. Thank you Gabri you were fantastic.

My tour with Mervat from Ocean Air Tours was incredible. She was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. She made me feel very comfortable. Although I was in an unfamiliar place as a female traveling alone she made the experience one to remember. I look forward to visiting Egypt and touring with your company and Mervat again. Thank you

We were fortunate in both events, firstly 4 had dropped out and we had a very intimate number of 4 in our group. Secondly Corona hysteria hit and therefor the museum was empty and no queuing at the pyramids.

Amina was a great guide for our day at the pyramids and museum. She was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect english, and made sure to keep us highly engaged throughout the entire day. Highly recommend!
