Had a small hiccup where the activity provider’s initial message said pickup was between 6:45-7:00 am and couldn’t get ahold of them when the driver didn’t show, however after reaching out to GYG’s support team it turned out they meant to pick us up at 8:30-8:45 am. After looking up the sanctuary it appeared they open only after 9:00 at anyhow, and thus the initial message must have just been incorrect. After resolving that small issue and getting to the sanctuary, my partner and I had an amazing time getting to experience how these beautiful creatures live and seeing them up close. Pictures/videos were also very easy to take (we even got some of the elephants “hugging” us with their trunks!). They will take photos and send them to your email for free, but you are also welcome to bring a camera/phone/etc and take your own photos. We prep’d food, fed the elephants, prep’d mud and covered them with it, played in the water and bathed with them, and more. Amazing experience.

Excellent trip, the animals were clearly well cared for (no chains or harsh treatment at all). We got to learn about them, prepare and feed them, give them a mud scrub and then bath them. We then had a delicious lunch. Afterwards they send you all the photos as long as you provide your email address. Really good value for money and I would highly recommend. (One tip - if you get car sick take a travel sickness tablet because the road there has lots of hill and turns.)

Wonderful - from start to finish! All well planned, leaving enough time to enjoy the activity and be close to the animals, which are evidently well looked after. They also send you a lot of pictures they take of you throughout the activity and pics are awesome. One of the best tour we had, highly recommended

Amazing once in a lifetime opportunity. Elephants are treated humanly and are in excellent condition/health. You get plenty of time to spend with and get to know personality of each elephant (10 in total on park), activities include preparing food and hand feeding elephants and also bathing.

Lovely experience, glad to repeat it. Useful to bring water shoes if bathing with the elephants.
