3-Hour Bologna Segway PT Authorized Tour

3. 3-Hour Bologna Segway PT Authorized Tour

There is no better way to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Bologna than on a Segway tour amid the beautiful arcades and hidden cloisters of the city. The tour begins in Piazza Minghetti - the historical center of the city - where you will have an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Segway. A rather unusual but intriguing itinerary runs through Via De’ Toschi, leading you through the alleys of the medieval market (Via Clavature and Via Sampieri). The tour continues straight along one of the most peaceful streets, Via Santo Stefano, home of the Basilica di Santo Stefano complex. This complex includes 7 Romanesque and Gothic churches, as well as an artistic representation of the period when Bologna was raised to a Commune. The route then follows the street back towards the renowned “leaning towers” and continues on to the heart of the ancient Jewish ghetto. Proceeding down Via Zamboni, you will return to Piazza della Mercanzia where you will again see the two towers (Asinelli and Garisenda) but this time viewing them against the Loggia della Mercanzia. From Piazza della Mercanzia, you will wind your way back through the medieval market area, before reaching Piazza Maggiore, the largest square featuring a fountain depicting Neptune.

3-Hour Ferrara Segway PT Authorized Tour

4. 3-Hour Ferrara Segway PT Authorized Tour

Ride a Segway around the carefully laid-out streets of Ferrara and you will trace a route that holds a unique spot in European history. This is the birthplace of modern town planning. One of the main centers of artistic and intellectual life during the Italian Renaissance, Ferrara is also the first planned city of modern times. And the design is unique and original, as opposed to the Roman layout of Italy's other urban centers. The ruling Este family cultivated some of the greatest minds and artists in Italy during the 15th and 16th centuries, and their Estense Castle comes early in the tour. Continuing on you come to the enclosed world of the Crema Palace cloisters, the unusual Municipal Theater courtyard and the famous staircase of the ancient Ducal Palace. You also see the Gothic 12th-century cathedral, ringed by medieval shops, and the old inns along Adelardi Street.

What people are saying about Emilia-Romagna

The dolphin show was more interesting 3 years ago. But that doesn't mean that it was bad now. The show may have been shortened by Corona. But I'm not sure. At first the admitting lady didn't even want to try to scan our tickets. Apparently GetYourGuide doesn't book very often. But everything went smoothly. Food a bit overpriced. But if you take something with you, you save a lot of money. Unfortunately, we missed the parrot show because the show times on the website weren't right, so we wanted to reserve a good place in the dolphinarium. The distance was not despite Corona. But only vaccinated / genesis or with a test come in. We liked everything very much and would go again.

Exceptional experience

Wonderful presentation of the city of Bologna - our French-speaking guide was charming, very professional and spent more time than expected. We will keep fond memories of this Segway tour.

Super nice section of beach, great service on site and class B Advance information/communication :) we would book again and again!

Absolutely fantastic!

We toured Ferrara using Segway - it was so much fun :)
