    Amazing wines, beautiful scenery, friendly hosts and an amazing guide!

    We booked this on a whim, and it was perfection! Our guide, Jose, was fantastic-super friendly, very knowledgeable, and instrumental in helping us purchase wine and procure boxes and packing supplies for travel. We visited four wineries, and each was unique but they had great wine and friendly hosts in common. It was so nice to get out of Lisbon and into the countryside-the views and scenery were spectacular! This was a full day of wine drinking with a break for lunch, and it was a prefect end to our trip to Portugal. We'd recommend this excursion if you are interested in getting out of the city, if you enjoy wine, and if you are looking for a full day adventure. If you have the good fortune of booking Jose as your guide-consider yourself lucky!

    Brilliant, enjoyable day with the best guide we've had on trip

    We booked this tour just a few days before taking it. We've done a mix of group and private tours. This was the best tour of our entire 5 week holiday. Jose was our guide, and he was wonderful. He was very knowledgable, friendly and flexible but without jeopardising or changing the tour. One of the family wineries would have happily chatted to us for another few hours, we managed to extend the time a fraction without affecting the next and final winery of the day. The mix of commercial and family wineries was excellent as were all the wines we tasted and the tours of the facilities. Jose was more s travelling companion towards the end of thd day and we highly recommend the tour and him.

    We loved our trip to Arrábida. And would reccomend this company.

    This trip was a highlight for us. Even though we started out with less than ideal weather we had a great day which was due to our awesome guide Joanna! I can’t rate her highly enough she had great English and was really passionate about the history. She went out of her way to make the trip special for us as we were a group of 2 and we even got to do some extra bits as we finished at the winery slightly earlier than planned. Having Joanna as our guide made the trip for us and it was the perfect way to spend our last day. She even gave us some good tips for somewhere to go out afterwards.

    The tour was great, and Rui was fabulous!

    I loved the tour with Rui. Rui is a wonderful professional guide, and at the same time very easy going and fun to be with. There were many highlights in the tour, a very beautiful area, but the best part for me was an amazing Fish restaurant that Rui brought us to, which was super yummy. Rui made everything to make us happy during the tour, and he succeeded! :)

    Great guide...not enough time to see everything

    Nuno is a great guide! We expected to be more active and see more then only a view from the car ride and small walk to the beach, but the great place for lunch and good company still made it a really good day!
