I booked this in August, spoke with a live person 2-3 times about our pick up area yet the night before the trip I received an e- mail that they needed a pick up area or the tour could be cancelled! I replied of course. The next morning I found out the eMail address was no good! I was not happy, we had to meet the van at 6 am! It was then about 4. BUT, they do have a twenty four hour phone number and they did answer! Caught the van ,had an excellent trip to the ferry, with a great driver, Keith, We had not signed up for the island tour, opting to get a car. But we received vouchers for the tour. After Keith contacted the office, we did go on the tour. Fantastic decision, we would have been lost on our own, not a clue where to go, the tour was educational, and eye opening. NOW, the tour was over booked, and the mode of transportation was a school bus, an old school bus! To correct this, they brought in an additional van. We quickly “ volunteered “ for the van!
Experience life as it was in Plymouth in 1627 in the Wampanoag Homesite and English Village. Watch as the Wampanoag use fire to hollow out a tree into a mishoon while the Pilgrims cook Indian corn and sausages for the winter ahead. The connections we make in their stories and testimonials remain relevant to this day. This is an outstanding living history activity which should not be missed. Due to school groups in the morning, the afternoon is less busy.
Tour guide, Chris & Tom, were friendly and very knowledgeable. Weather was a bit gloomy & rained a bit while we were on the island but it was still a nice trip overall. Recommend taking the 3-hour island tour especially during off-season as rental options may be limited. Ruby & Gabor USAF fr JBMDL, NJ
This is a very comprehensive tour and a great day activity. Excellent and superb descriptions of the day visit by our driver to and from Boston. Superb optional tour in Martha’s Vineyard ! Will highly recommend! And definitely going back next summer !!!
I had been to Plimouth Plantation years ago with my kids, but never thought of it as a fun & interesting place for a date until now. My partner had never been before and she loved it! Read up on the history before you go for added value.
