The tour was a good introduction for the city. I had such a good time riding the tuk tuk hearing what Diego talked about Madeira. I booked another half day tour to other part of Madeira, such as the tropical garden and east part of the island. Diego was quite cheerful and full of stories. I enjoyed listening about local culture and history. To be honest I had no idea what he looked like as both of us were wearing masks during both journeys.

We had a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Hugo was our guide and he is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He is also an excellent driver which is required for this trip as you go off-road. He speaks perfect English and went above and beyond to make our day pleasant. Due to COVID there was only us booked in the tour and he didn’t cancel which is a great customer service. I would definitely recommend this.

A great day out where we explored the west of the island with Lucy, the best tour guide ever. She told us about the fauna of the island, the traditions and much more. Lots of stop offs to take pictures, refreshand of course swim in the natural pools.

Our guide Tiago picked us up from our hotel right on time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was easy to interact with answering all our questions. At the end of the tour Tiago dropped us off where we were going next, which was a nice touch.

Easy to find meeting point and very knowledgeable guide! It covered not only the history but also tips on local food and restaurants in the old town area of Funchal. It covers more than 6km of walking in total so wear comfortable shoes!
