What people are saying about Krakow

Auschwitz and Birkenau: easy place to meet for the mini coach in Krakow Centre where an English speaking guide (Floriano) met us with confidence and gave us a language sticker to identify us. All the way to Audchwitz, he pointed out historical landscapes and gave a new insight into why they were there! He was very timely and organised, polite and handed us over to the official guides at the venues. Most certainly the best organised trip in Poland I've been on!

It's really hard even writing this review. I knew about the events that took place here before going but I had no idea of the actual scale of the place. I would recommend 2 days as birkenau is a massive site. It is worth the visit but be prepared as its extremely hard to visit. I'm a relatively big guy and even I cried walking round at the horrors that took place here.

Good but timing can be better : leaving Krakow at 12H05 makes return at 19H30 certainly when then some people are missing at the time of return at the bus missing point. Being more strict would behelpfull.

Auswitch and Birkenau. It was a touching experience. Paul, the driver, told us a lot about history, very interesting. We had a little book explaining the place as well as the guide.

In Auschwitz door headphones was nl gids goed te verstaan, helaas geen microfoon in Birkenau en was gids lastig te verstaan met inachtneming van voldoende afstand.
