The coach trip was clean and comfortable and the organiser was excellent at explaining all about how the day would progress. The guide at auchwitz was fine but you don't get very much time to look at the exhibits which is such a shame. I recommend buying the guide book to help you understand the exhibits when you leave.

It was a good tour of the sites and the (English) speaking guide was informative and gave us time to look about and reflect on what we were experiencing. Comfortable ride to and from the site but air con on the mini bus could have been better. Good driver. It was a very hot day so it would have been good to stop for cold drinks afterwards as most people on the trip were hot and dehydrated.

The tour itself was poignant as it is a somber topic but it is essential to visit if you are in the region to the see the horrors that went on and ensure it is never repeated. The tour itself was good but not excellent, pickup was outside my accomidation on time in a lovely air-conditioned bus which was great in the heat however the guide didn't communicate en route to us until we arrived - it would have been good to hear something like those with bigger backpacks may want to take some items out and just takes those in, or we are x minutes away so it might be worth applying sun cream now. Also in terms of food it is advisable to take your own and again this would have been a good topic to cover en route for example when are breaks and when you can eat I felt a bit in the dark regarding this. Auschwitz tour with the guide was simple excellent and hit home the travesties that occurred here, I will never forget this day and I recommend visiting.
