Full description
If you have selected the option including transportation, you will travel from Krakow in a minivan with 8 or 22 seats. After the 1.5-hour drive to the site you’ll have a short break before the tour.
Your guided tour begins at Auschwitz, the main camp, in a group of no more than 30 visitors. You’ll be led by a professional, museum-employed guide. Receivers and earpieces are provided by the Auschwitz Museum to ensure that you’re able to hear the guide clearly.
You’ll spend around 2 hours taking in all the permanent exhibitions and buildings at the main camp, and then have a 15-minute break. Following the break there will be a short drive to Birkenau, the second part of the camp, located about 3 km from Auschwitz. The Birkenau visit lasts approximately 1 hour.
For regular guided tours, the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum limits the time each group spends on the grounds to 3.5 hours including the break in between sites.
If you have selected the option with transfers, you will then head back to Krakow to be dropped off at one of 3 central drop-off points.

- Short breaks of 15-25 minutes are available for coffee and snacks in a few shops and restaurants on site
- There is a 2zł (€0.50) fee to use the toilet on site
