A great day was had by all.

Arthur our Purple VW Convertable arrived at the correct time and explained our day. We left the top on in the beginning as it was reasonably cool and proceeded onwards .Arthurspoke really good English and we visited a few sights en route to Sintra. I had forgotten it was Easter Saturday and the traffic was really bad.The weather was now perfect and we enjoyed the trip with the hood down. When we got to the windy road up to Sintra Castle there was a big traffic jam and took us a long time to reach the gates. Once inside the Castle grounds the Easter crowds were so heavy that you needed two hours in the queue before you could get in so we only had a quick look about. Back to the VW but the traffic was herendous and Arthur had to go down the hill and back up again as all car parks were filled up. He eventually made it so we decided to tour around and see other sites. We eventually were treated to a 12 hour day instead of only 6 hours. We had a great lunch at the seaside. What a great day .

Great tour, highly recommend it! Joao was great!!!

This was a fantastic tour and our guide, Joao (John), was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Starting from the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he pointed out historical landmarks and shared so much of Portugal's long history along the way. John was considerate, thoughtful and catered to our needs. The tour took us to Sintra, Caba da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe (and what a beautiful spot it is), the beautiful town of Cascais, and the Belem area of Lisbon. We tasted so many delicious foods and drinks and John did a wonderful job of explaining and giving us a little history about everything we were eating or drinking. And we loved being in the VW Beetle convertible. There is not a better way to explore this beautiful area of Portugal and learn so much about the country’s history and culture! Our only mistake was not booking this earlier in our trip and doing a second day! Thank you John, we had such a fun day and so many laughs! We will be back again!!
