Escape the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and get back to nature at the remote beach of Sesimbra. Cross the Tagus River on the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge and then journey on to Ribeira do Cavalo to discover one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Relax on the hard-to-reach beach and go for a swim and snorkel in the sea, if conditions allow. Jump from the rocks if you are feeling brave! Then, head back to Lisbon and stop at the Cristo Rei statue of Christ for amazing views of the city. Look down at the beach and blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Ze was a fantastic tour guide! He took us down a mountain side to see a stunning beach view and eventually to the beach itself. The snorkelling itself was not the best given the quality of the water - but apparently this is the same all around Portugal! The beach itself was lovely to relax on. Afterwards Ze took us to another besides seeing area next to the sea and a bridge - again lovely and worth seeing. Overall a nice afternoon and an excursion that I would recommend.

This was a fantastic Tour. The timing is great, starting at 2:30pm means that youll be at the beach and then going back (to other view points) during sunset, which is great. Getting to Ribeira is not that difficult, the average fit person can easily handle it (shoes / sneakers preferred). The guide is very friendly, positive person. I had a great day. The value for money is really great.

The trip to the beach was really fun, even if we couldn't exactly determine the jump point for the rock jumping. Then we jumped into the water from a lower point where we knew the water depth. Snorkeling was also possible and the beach is a dream despite the old water. The walk to the beach is an adventure in itself and you don't stand a chance here without sensible shoes. Fortunately, we didn't have that problem in our group.
