This was an enjoyable day tour that is worthwhile doing when in Luang Prabang. Lunch was a buffet at the elephant conservation park, with a good variety of local and western food. The amount of time at each stop about right. The price of the tour was good value for money. It was a small group tour of 15 people in a minibus. My only criticism is that we did not get much information from the guide.

Great experience. We cooked over an open fire with minimal equipment. Even the tongs were made of bamboo. I was the only one in the class this particular day and the hostess made it a very hands on experience for me while welcoming me into her home. I also got a little glimpse into village life. The food was excellent. I had no idea rattan was edible!

It was a truly authentic cooking experience. I cooked on the fire, used pestle and mortar for all grinding tasks, I squeezed juice out of leaves with my bare hands! I used ingredients I’ve never come across / knew was edible! And the food was soooo delicious! The hosts are so friendly too. I loved it! Definitely recommend this.

Great day with lots of activities packed in. In addition to the caves, whisky village, waterfall and moon bear sanctuary we also stopped at an elephant sanctuary and had a delicious lunch in town. Guide was knowledgable, professional and spoke very good English. Would highly recommend.

Well worth the money - the tour guide Sai was awesome - they allow you some time to explore and provided water along with lunch. They bring g you to a nice view where they serve lunch then you board the boat.
