The Mornington Peninsular is as stunning as it is diverse. From the quiet bay side beach boxes to the roaring southern ocean the hinterland of the Peninsular is home to many hidden gourmet delights. Rustic farmhouses with generous samples of fresh goats cheese, chocolate creations produced in a gorgeous seaside town and some of the best Pinot Noir anywhere in the world make up this day tour! The day begins with hotel pickup in Melbourne and surrounding areas or you can meet the bus at other pickup points along the way. At Main Ridge Dairy you sample some of the goats cheese from this small boutique farm and meet the goats themselves!   Sit back and enjoy the views as you travel through the vineyards and rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsular. Each winery has been selected for its excellent cellar door experience and variety of wines. The Mornington Peninsular is famous for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and you will sample these and other varietals throughout the day. Then sample their multi award winning chocolates and marvel at their amazing combinations and creations. Sit back in a cozy cafe in the seaside town of Flinders followed by time to explore the township with its boutique shops and galleries or take a stroll to the beach. Step into the wonderful world of strawberries at Sunny Ridge Strawberry farm. Nice trip, not the best if you are mostly interested in wine - but a good combo otherwise! The Red Hill wine tasting was the a really bad experience. The place were totally overcrowded and noisy. The Italian host was mostly busy with another group of 15 people, and when asked to repeat some information he was rude and accused the group for not being standing close enough to each other. The information given were short and uninteresting and given with little enthusiasm. Wines were not tempered, and when the host said he did his best in a busy situation he just took on another group of 10 - in from the cellar door and started to work with them instead of serving our group, that were planned (I hope)! Including this winery shows no respect for the customer! The strawberry place could also have been avoided on this busy Sunday. We could rather have more time for lunch or a decent wine taste another place. very limited legrom in the minibus

The selections of events and activities were easy going and excellent.

It was an easy going, no rush tour. The host/hostess of the places we visited were all every warm and professional. We enjoyed very much of the sunshine and beautiful country scenery of the Mornington peninsula. Our tour guide was excellent, though the tour bus was a bit old.

We were expecting to visit a few more wineries. I would have liked to have had lunch at a winery and not be dropped off in a town to grab a pie. The wines were average and none were worth me parting any money. The last winery had bad service.
