Full description
Journey through the island villages of Hawaii, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and Tahiti and experience their rich cultural history and customs at the Polynesian Culture Center in Oahu. Immerse yourself in village traditions from across Polynesia in this 42-acre cultural center, and participate in a variety of activities that celebrate what makes each so unique. Visit the Hawaii village to learn the significance of dance while taking a hula lesson, try your hand at ancient games, taste prepared poi, or try the art of lauhala (reed) weaving. At the village of Tahiti, experience a special wedding ceremony, give pole fishing a go, or see the famous hip-shaking Tahitian dance. Explore the Fiji village and watch presentations held throughout the day featuring the derua (bamboo instrument), get a temporary tattoo, and tour the 6-story temple. Don't miss the marvelous Canoe Pageant, a theatrical show featuring performers from every island dancing on their canoe as they float through the water. Later, savor a meal in the Ali'i Luau Buffet, named “Hawaii's Most Authentic Luau.” Delight in the Ali’i Luau's iconic presentation of the pig, a wide array of delicious authentic Polynesian cuisine, beautiful Hawaiian music, and traditional hula. The Ali'i Luau Buffet Menu’s entrees include a variety of meats ranging from Kalua pork, island chicken, teriyaki braised beef, a poke bar, and vegetarian chili. Traditional side dishes offerings include poi, Hawaiian fried rice, a vegetable medley, and taro rolls. Treat yourself to an assortment of fresh seasonal fruits and produce at the salad bar. Finish off your authentic meal with an array of desserts like pineapple bars, chocolate cakes, and haupia (coconut pudding). Finally, enjoy reserved seating for the poignant and theatrical evening performance of “HA: Breath of Life,” incorporating the symbolic story of Mana and his beloved Lani. The tale is accentuated by Polynesian dance, music, and blazing fire knife dancers featuring over 100 Polynesian natives, special effects, animation, and surround sound. All are excellent. Except for one item: Your website does not really reflect what is going on there and what to expect. The person, who designed it, assumed that people might have some ideas about this center. You need to change it and assume that the people do not have any idea and explain all activities with a road map.

Very beautifull!!!!!! Good good good Beautiful place, qualified staff and up to the place. Moreover interesting also from the cultural point of view. The dinner was organized down to the smallest detail, although it was a buffet with about 150 people, there was no confusion or queues and "fights" for food, really enjoyable!
