I would had given this 5 stars except for the fact that I thought the observatory was a total ripoff. It was the most expensive elevator ride I have ever taken. I was insulted by the fact that you were herded into an area and asked if you wanted to pay for an I pad to see what you were looking at. I was also not pleased with the man who “showed us the way “ to the meeting place, waited outside the deli and then tried ( successfully) to sell us the books. But that was my own fault . I was very happy our guide who gave an excellent tour.
Amazing experience. From the moment you enter this massive building, you are swept up in the enormity of it all. The lift takes 47 seconds and the lift walls display video footage of the ascent. Views are unbelievable. So much to see. We arrived just before sunset and stayed for cocktails in the bar after dark. An absolutely brilliant attraction.
The tour was very informative and also quite emotional too . Our tour guide Daniel was fantastic and also his personal experience of the events that day on Sept 11th added to what was a very emotive experience.
Students were too loud; nice but showed little respect for speakers at one station. Therefore guides/leaders should be in more control of groups. The sceneries were awesome.
Very good, you got to see everything that was on the list. Jen was very chatty and funny. Must do if you don't have much time and want to see a lot.
