Undoubtedly the highlight of a brilliant Crete holiday was the tour to Arkadi Monastery organised and led by the knowledgeable and professional Michalis of ebikes Rethymno. Suitable for all ages and abilities we cycled round the Rethymnon countryside making several stops at significant sites to learn for example the importance of the olive industry in the local economy and to visit buildings of historical importance. Before returning we enjoyed a delicious lunch of local specialities in a taverna overlooking the bay.

The tour was great and Balos was beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was that the apparent soft white sand they promised was filled with rocks and seashells and cigarette stubs of other people. It was also very hard to get into the water because there are slippery rocks every where. It would've been great to get the tip to wear swimming shoes so you don't hurt yourself like I did. But everything was greta

The most beautiful beach I've ever seen... The program is well-organized, it takes 12 hours as it is indicated. You can spend around 3 hours on Balos beach and 1,5 hours in Gramvousa island. We didn't go up to the ruins, we chose a beach as well in Gramvousa, because it would be very hard, the temperature was ~35°. The day is fully suggested, you must be there and see yourself.

good trip, lagoon is very nice. boat is very big en crowded, you need cash for the boat payment no card, food on the boat is cheap and decent, bus ride takes about 1,5 hour but is okay

Chania was so beautiful that our only complaint was that we had to leave at 4pm and wished we stayed longer. Our guide was very helpful and lovely!
