What people are saying about Vatican Museums

Marcius is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my tour. Be warned this does not include saint Peter's basillica or la pieta and the description is misleading. When complained about afterwards to the provider I was assured a partial refund. The reason for that part of the tour not being included is because the corridor from the museum to the basilica is currently closed due to covid and the tour description has still not been updated to reflect this. I went the following afternoon and had a great time, and its free.

I‘m so glad to have booked this tour! Our guide Maria was really wonderful, very informative and could always keep my 6 year old son entertained by giving him things to look for and small prizes. It was helpful also to have a guide especially as the normal route from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter’s basilica was closed due to Covid, and she really knew her away around where exactly to go.We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while learning, I can only give her and this tour the highest recommendations!

Fabulous. Other than the amazing sights and experience, Davide our guide was exceptional. His vast knowledge of St Peters Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, the hall of Maps, the Vatican and everything else we talked about was astounding. His attention to detail brought this tour to another level. We booked online very simple and quick. Our 3 hour tour took almost 4 hours.

I cannot imagine touring the Vatican without a guide. Andy did a terrific job showing my family of 5 persons around. My three children are ages 15, 12 and 10. He made the tour interesting and asked them questions to remain involved. As an archeologist, Andy definitely knew all about the history, art and facilities he was showing us. I highly recommend.

Excellent guide (Yuri). 3 hours just about right. Not sure that leaving the best until last (The Sistine Chapel) is the best way to do the tour, by that time, with feet aching and needing a rest I just didn't absorb the magnitude of what I was seeing. Awesome artwork but by that time I just wanted a McDonald's!
