This is an excellent tour to have an overall introduction to Murano, Burano, and Torcello, without diving too deep into the details of each island. Perfect if you have never visited them and want to get an idea, less suitable if you want to gain in-depth knowledge about them. We were a small group, so the company booked a taxi, which was an absolute treat. Great first time to the Lagoon Islands, our favourite was Burano (we got covid masks with handmade lace! So stylish). Live demonstrations of glass blowing and lace making are included. The guide was approachable and knowledgeable, keeping us on time without making us feel rushed.
We were a family of 5 (kids were 16, 10, 4) and LOVED every minute of this tour. Antonella was AMAZING! Very informative and included the kids in conversation. It was a small private group which was nice with COVID restrictions. Masks on the whole tour. Just enough time on Murano to have a tour of the glass factory. Wish we had a little more time on Burano as there was more to see and do there. But we were able to meet with the lace lady in action, wander the streets to find cookies, quick lunch, gelato, and pics.
It is a great way to see the whole city from the lagune. The visits to Murano, Torcello and Burano were by definition relatively short. But for 3h30 it was a packed but very informative tour. The fact that all info had been repeated in 4 languages was very tiring, but the guide as well as the listeners. Esp. if one understand 3 or more of the languages. Maybe it is time to use a headphone system with a choice of languages, as the CitySightseeing hop-on and hop-off buses do it.
Burano is a must see, I would recommend this boat trip to anyone visiting Venice. The tour guide was lovely and knowledgable about everything and the free time to explore the islands was the perfect amount of time - didn’t feel rushed. Overall a great experience.
Nice tour, except that the Murano horse that we bought in the Murano glass factory, had a broken leg. I think the woman that wrapped the item did’nt pay attetion. I felt not really happy because it’s very nice souvenir. Overall the tour was almost perfect.
