Doing the ferry without the farm was great especially if you book the 10am trip as this means that although the front of the boat is packed with people with cameras and selfie sticks on the way out it is far quieter on the way back and you can get your pictures and enjoy the scenery in peace. I doubt this is the case for any other trip as they bring people back on the other journeys.

Super good dinner overall....but not seeing alkapa sheep the reason because the alkapa is in the peak and your ship is about to leave....it doesnt make sense because we pay higher for dinner time compare the lunch package. and he said if you ship at noon we Will have time to see alkapa. However the time for lunch and dinner written same in the brochure

The entire experience was wonderful, as it always has been. It was my 8th trip on this historic steamship & apart from some severe wind along the southern shore heading into Walter Peak station, which was well handled by the captain, everything was exceptional.

Great to travel on the historic Earnslaw. The sheep show demonstration was excellent and the BBQ to follow was exceptional. Service, food and position were outstanding. Highly recommend this trip .

We loved it! Especially seeing the team working hard stoking the fire with coal. Next time we'll book the longer package and enjoy time at Walters Peak Station.
