Meet the Locals

Start your tour in central Paris in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus and head to the Champagne region. During the journey, listen to commentary from your guide covering the history of and interesting facts about the region. Your first stop would be the small town of Épernay where you will start with a guided tour of Moët & Chandon, a prestigious French winery and Champagne house that produces Dom Pérignon or a similar domain from the same luxury LVMH group (depending on the availability) After the tasting, feel free to stroll along the avenue de champagne towards the center of this small city and have a delicious lunch in a local restaurant and enjoy a 3-course lunch. Afterward, visit the producer where more than 80 farmers work hard to make an amazing selection of sparkling wines designed for special occasions. Visit the museum to see different utensils used to make Champagne, and watch a short film about the vineyards. Later you will visit another great vineyard and be greeted by its charming workers. Have a chance to taste their elegant and exclusive product and hear about the history of their champagne estate in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere before heading back to central Paris. Just in time to ask your guide where you can have a good dinner.

Celebrate your special day with a private tour of the Champagne region, either with your partner or in the company of your family and friends.  After getting picked up from your hotel, head to the spectacular Pommery Champagne estate for a private tour. With just your guide for company, enjoy a stroll through the cellars and learn more about the history of Champagne. After your tour, enjoy your first tasting in the house. Then, head to another Champagne estate, Veuve Clicquot, where you will enjoy another tasting and do a spot of souvenir shopping in the on-site store. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, stop at a panoramic viewpoint in the middle of the vineyards to admire the views and take a romantic photograph. Then, pay a visit to a local winemaker and discover his work on a tour of the cellar, followed by a tasting of 3 different Champagnes. During this tasting, you will learn how to taste Champagne and how to differentiate between different varieties. Finally, make your way back to the hotel, stopping at another romantic viewpoint on the way back.
