Discover one of the best areas for birdwatching in the USA on a 2-hour guided tour of the Everglades National Park. With over 300 species of birds throughout the year, it is the only Park that was established for its biological and ecological considerations rather than its geological features. Most of the 1.5 million acres in the Park are flooded and essentially out of reach for the average birder and photographers. However, with this tour, you will be able to access areas seldom reached by others. Your tour takes place on a quiet powerboat to avoid wildlife disturbances. Depending on the season, expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as numerous species of fish and shorebirds.

What people are saying about Everglades City

Lots of fun! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a gift for gab. The tour was well organized and the dolphins following in the wake of the boat and jumping were spectacular and worth the price of admission. A top 5 fish experience in my book! The only downside was that the tour was a bit too long and could be uncomfortable if the weather isn't very good.

Capn Don was very knowledgeable and generous with information on local flora and fauna, as well as the Colusa Indians that once inhabited the area. He also made an excellent suggestion to go to Big Cypress Bend for their self-walk. Loved it!

Dan was a great tour guide. We saw several dolphins, a manatee, and lots of birds. Dan explained the ecosystem of the area and new all the mangroves and his way around and through them like the expert he was. I highly recommend this tour.

Exceptional cruise with the dolphins … which we saw several times and which followed us each time to play, thanks to our brilliant pilot !!! To do absolutely!!!

A great tour. Capt. Don is a knowledgeable and friendly guide, perfect for our 6 person family, age 7 to 71. Highly recommend this tour!
