Full description

Take a multi-day trip through the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara desert departing from Marrakech. Admire the beautiful scenery, enjoy traditional Berber culture and cuisine, and visit a variety of charming villages across 3 days.

Drive through a cedar forest and see the resident monkeys, before descending to the Sahara Desert. Arrive at the traditional kasbah at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the beauty of the sunset on a camel ride across the dunes. At the Berber camp, enjoy mint tea and dinner, gaze at the stars and spend the night in a tent. On the second day visit Merzouga, Tinghir and Ouarzazate. Head out on the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs along the ancient caravan route. This area has been a popular location for Hollywood films, such as The Last Temptation of Christ and Jewel of the Nile. Stop for lunch and a walk in Todgha Gorges and then travel through the Dadès Valley past dramatic escarpments. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in the Gorges or in Ouarzazate. On the third day, visit the town of Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios – the largest and most famous movie studios in Africa.

Professional guides. Incredible tent stay in the dessert. Unforgettable memories on the sand dunes and with the camels. It would be a pity to leave Morocco without going on this trip. Also, there are many offers for going to the desert, but this one is worth the money. It was awesome.

Hachem was the best tour guide ever! Could not recommend this trip enough - we were able to see so much of the beautiful country in a short amount of time. Our time in the desert was the highlight as we were able to truly get a taste of the Sahara. We were given time to visit out of the way vistas and local cuisines that we would have missed. Hachem was extremely wise and so fun and we had an awesome time throughout with him. We learned so much about the route and history of the places we saw. Thank you so much! 11/10

Nice, interesting, well organized, all the people I have met as staff were professional. Hussein driver\guide was very helpful, Mohammed (camel man), Mubarak and Salah( camp crew) all very nice people. "Beduin tent".... well... I saw a beduin tent, but I don't remember the king size bed, AC, WC and all the comfort we had here. In fact, the tent was much comfortable than some hotel rooms... Food in the camp was good, but on the way, during the trip should be careful with salmonella. Not all the lunch stops were very clean. Hotel in Ouarzazate was a good choice, also, with a clean serving restaurant. A little boring if you are staying in the back, and painful also if they are 3 , because the trip is quite long. That's why is important to have a good guide to tell you a lot of things, to make the trip easier to support.
