This was a highlight of my trip. So much fun, with a fantastic group of people lead by two wonderful chefs. History, humour and food, all wrapped into one day spent shopping and cooking in a gorgeous kitchen overlooking the valley in the hills of Florence. Breathtaking and delicious? A fabulous combination. I wholeheartedly recommend this, for solo or with others!! I learned a lot, and had so much fun while doing it.
Absolutely the favorite part of our trip. Elise and Thomas were wonderful and so knowledgeable. and our chef, Carmela was an absolute joy. She made it all look so easy and everything we made was terrific. The drive to the countryside was lovely and the views from the kitchen were gorgeous. We highly recommend this class.
The Opificio delle Pietre Dure has a sublime collection of art works and is absolutely worth visiting. The guide Susanna has extensive knowledge about the history and background of the art works and tells it in a very pleasant way.
It was a great spontaneous class to do with our friends in Florence. Additionally they took the proper precautions during this time. Everything was clean and disinfected.
The chef was fabulous and it was the perfect amount of time. The best part is.... you get to keep the recipes at the end!
