Ride a Segway through the beautiful streets of Florence and experience the city in a fun and exciting way in just a few hours. Florence is a pearl of the Renaissance period and its wonderful old town offers a wide variety of sightseeing highlights. Begin your Segway tour with a 30-minute orientation session. Once you feel comfortable riding the Segway, start your journey to Florence's historic center. Here you will have the opportunity to see all the major sights, while comfortably listening to your live tour guide. Along the way, see the impressive Brunelleschi's Dome with its characteristic bell tower. Discover the Uffizi and Accademia Fine Arts galleries, as well as popular squares such as the Piazza della Signoria and the Piazza della Repubblica. From the Arno River, admire the beautiful bridges and take in the scenery from a unique viewpoint. This tour offers a great opportunity to discover the city in a fun and interesting way. There is also the option to have a delicious Tuscan lunch after the morning tour.

    Meeting point at Segway Office located in Via dei Cimatori 9 Red, Florence. Directions from the Duomo Cathedral Square: If you are facing the front of the church, turn right on Via dei Calzaiuoli and walk straight on, turn left on the 4th cross street, which is Via dei Cimatori. Directions from Piazza della Signoria: face the statue of the man on horseback, on your right there is “Il Cavallino” restaurant. Take that street (via delle Farine) and turn right onto the second cross street, which is Via dei Cimatori.

    • All participants must be at least 16 years of age and weigh at least 100 pounds and not in excess of 260 pounds
    • Due to the risk to both child and mother, pregnant women are not allowed to participate

    • Your safety is always the highest priority; therefore, each tour begins with a very thorough orientation of the Segway and its use before going out to enjoy the city
    • Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to participate, and will not be refunded

    Rachel did a fantastic job helping us learn how to use the segways, they were so much fun and we were pro's within half hour, even navigating the busy backstreets of Florence. our guide was very knowledgable and sought out shade when we stopped to listen and look around. such a fun way to explore, we will be booking again for Rome!

    Absolutely amazing way to see Florence

    Our first time on a Segway, we were very nervous but the whole team were very warm and welcoming. Brian was our guide and once we had spent 10 minutes getting used to the Segway we were off. Brian kept the speed and ability to suit the whole team. He showed us so much of Florence in a few hours and told us not only the history but some funny stories as well. We are going back to walk and visit the many churches and statues that he pointed out along the way. If you’ve never been on a Segway, do it! If you’ve never been to Florence, go!

    Fun, efficient way to see alot of sites in Florence in a short time

    Typical Segway tour. My 11 and 14 year old daughters love riding these things so it is a great way for me to get them to see the sites of a city without the boredom/protests which they put up when we are walking. This tour was led by an energetic guide and we hit many of the highlights of this historic city in a short time.
