The only small thing was that the lift wasn’t working at the entrance and we had to carry the pushchair up the stairs. Also if you are elderly or unfit definitely get the lift to the top floor as advised. The stairs were too much for me and I’m not yet 60! The paintings were beautiful though and the view from the top floor was stunning.

Our tour guide, Sylvia de Medici (inside joke), could not have been warmer, kinder or informative. Her expertise was incredible and she spent time answering all of our questions. Her passion for her work was always apparent. We are grateful we could spend such an amazing time with her. Grazie Mille, Sylvia!
