Absolutely great cooking class! Chef Emanuelle was fantastic, entertaining and so very knowledgeable. We learned how to make Italian Ragu and egg pasta, which was delicious and amazing! Chef Emanuelle told us the history of certain types of food, taught us the various techniques, everyone got their turn to chop vegetables, make pasta and stir the pot of ragu. It was truly a group effort and we learned so much! I would highly recommend taking this class and would definitely take it again, it was so much fun.
Good paced tour, taking in main sightseeing places and with great tastings. At market we had four different ravioli then several different truffle products, balsamic vinegar and vin santo with cantucci, some local vege/bread dishes and finished with gelato. Great selection of food and it was a good small group to go with. Guide was very friendly and informative of Florence.
Excellent chef/teacher. Market visit was worthwhile. Good balance of hands on cooking (we each rolled our own pasta dough, vs our chef speeding up some of the more tedious activities. Food was superb - made bruschetta, bolognese, tiramisu from scratch. Small group (7 people) made the experience much more personal, memorable.
Loved every single second. Thomas was so knowledgeable and an awesome teacher. At the end we could not believe we made the food ourselves. Something we will always keep with us
Loved it! Everyone was awkward at first but Emanuele? kept his pace and finished off great. I'm not too new at cooking buy still learned a lot from 4.5hrs class.
