What people are saying about Flores, Guatemala

The Tikal ruins and surrounding jungle are magnificent and definitely worth the visit. However, the information regarding duration is incorrect and misleading. This tour is one of several versions - with/without guide, included lunch, or entry fee. They all share the same tranport, and wait for the longest version (officially 8hr). There was a lot of wasted time (pre-ordering lunch, eating lunch, waiting for van pickup/return) and it ended up taking 10hrs! Only 3-4 hours were actually in the jungle/ruins. I think this is the best of the versions - the guide is worth it, but you're better off being able to choose your own lunch. Entry fee is Q150/$20 USD. *Don't forget to bring ID.*

Note: you must bring ID (passport, driver license, ID card or photo of auch) + 150 Quetzal in cash for entrance (can alternatively be purchased online prior) Very nice trip, really worth it! Be prepared for 4-5h of walking, the park is huge. Note that the trip is longer than what it say here. We were back at 17.30, not 16:00.

Our guide was great spoke very good English, we learned so much about the history that we wouldn’t have known without our guide. Shuttle was on time and clean.

Marvelus company took care about us and they were awesome.
