You’ll begin your full-day tour of Rothenburg ob der Tauber by departing at 9 AM from Frankfurt. First off, on your way to Rothenburg in the morning, you’ll stop off for an optional guided tour of Manor Weikersheim, one of the most beautiful castles in the region.
Next, you’ll arrive in Rothenburg and discover this gorgeous fairy tale-esque city, one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in Europe. You'll have 3 hours to spend exploring this quaint city and checking out its interesting local stores, including the world's first year-round Christmas shop.
In the afternoon on your journey back, the coach will stop for a short 15-minute stroll in Würzburg near the UNESCO-listed Bishop’s Residence, where you'll have the chance to take photos of the picturesque city of Würzburg and stretch your legs.
