It was a very well organised tour. The coaches were comfortable and our guide was very informative about the history and the geography of the area. We visited backsberg and sampled 5 delicious wines paired with similarly scrumptious chocolates. We stopped in Franschhoek and we ate at Bovine. Although the weather was damp, we enjoyed the duck parade and yes, more wine. I totally recommend it!
We were pick up at 81 Long Street then transferred to the V& A and changed buses. The first wine tasting was very well organised- 2 white, 2 red plus chocolates to march. Free time for lunch. 2nd tasting 1 white, 1 rose and 3 red plus cheese and bread. I appreciated the 1st as I am not a red drinker. Overall it was a good tour, we even saw zebras, not expected.
Well organised tour, on time with the pick-up, feel save on the bus and enjoy the tour guide with all his interesting information while travelling from place to place. Everybody was very friendly and helpful on the bus and will definitely recommend this tour. I look forward to my next holiday in Cape Town and will be on the "red" bus again.
We didn't receive correct information about the trip and missed our bus after waiting for a pick up. We had to pay for an uber to the first stop 40 mins away as we could not re book and were going to throw our money away. The tour itself was very good and the guide Keith was a very knowledgeable and polite man.
Best option for a nice price. Our guide told us a lot more about the history of the area, the culture and the technicalities of wine making and tasting. Really nice atmosphere. They picked some of the best wine farms and everything is prepared for your arrival. Would definitely recommend!
