From the get go the company was great, they kept us up to date on the likelihood of our trip happening subject to weather as it was looking a bit iffy. Our first attempt was cancelled but in good time so we could get on with our other plans rather than hang around and waste time. We returned a few days later… When we got to the office on the day of our successful attempt, the company was well organised and friendly. We were weighed, kitted up and headed for the ice. The weather was great and our guide was very knowledgeable, we learnt a lot and had an amazing time! Very unique experience! We would highly recommend booking with helicopter line!!

Amazing day on the glacier. We got to see how blue it was in the sun and learnt all about how the glacier was/is formed. We trekked for around 2hrs on the glacier and had 2 cool helicopter rides around the mountains. Our guide was very “hot on safety” he made sure that everyone was together and gave us a briefing before we started. We were provided with crampons, walking sticks, boots, socks, a bag and the option to have a windproof coat and trousers. Highly recommend this experience! It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, not everyone can say they’ve walked on a glacier!
