Boston: 1.5-Hour Ghosts and Gravestones Tour
- Small group
- Duration: 1.5 hours
My wife and I booked this tour last minute (as we were visiting Boston on a very last minute whim). Everything about this was amazing. Our tour guide, Betty, was beyond phenomenal; she was knowledgeable, entertaining, creepy (in the best way) and engaging. You could tell she loves her job. It was freezing and pouring, and we still had the best time doing it. Betty did her best to keep us in the driest parts of the cemeteries, but honestly we would have stood knee deep in water to partake in this again. We cannot recommend this tour more highly. We will 100% do it on a future visit again. I’m so happy my wife convinced me to do this.
We took a last minute trip to Boston and wanted to learn more about the Freedom Trail and the significant sites around the city. Most landmarks and museums are closed on Mondays, and this audio tour shared historical facts and fun info! It was a great deal! My only complaint is that the app (separate from GetYourGuide) kept crashing. It was a little difficult to navigate the site. Also-it said we had to start at the Boston Common, when in fact we could have started anywhere along the path. So I could have been listening along our walk to there. Otherwise-enjoyed this self-guided tour!
Great app, very educational. It just needs to be updated, it’s kind of slow whenever you try to switch scenes/spots. That’s both with WiFi and without it. Other than that it was pretty easy to maneuver and had great points. Still highly recommend.
We absolutely enjoyed the freedom of taking our time, stopping to eat when we wanted, and renting bikes to get back. The audible commentary was great and we learned so much!
This was an excellent & easy way to feel confident following the Freedom Trail. The narration was interesting, relevant, clear, & fun. This was a great find - thank you!
