Your 3-hour luxury catamaran tour begins at the docks of the new marina of Funchal. Board the catamaran and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine before setting off. Sail into the ocean to find dolphins, whales, and turtles. Spot these creatures in their natural habitat. The tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Funchal and heads to the first stop of the day, the small fishing village of Câmara De Lobos. Located in a small creak, with a beach and a harbor, the village is surrounded by quintessential houses that pile up around the bay. From here, continue up the world’s second-largest sea cliff and admire the beautiful views of Camara de Lobos and Funchal. The next stop is Ribeira Brava, named after the wild stream that runs through it. Visit the village’s history-rich church that was built in the 16th century and learn about its Flemish influences and baptism fountain. Head towards Ponta Do Sol next, one of the sunniest spots on the island and home to a pretty little village nestled in the steep folds of the valley overhung with dense banana plants. Paul de Serra is the next stop of the day and weather permitting there’s an opportunity to walk along Madeiras biggest and highest plateau to marvel at the panoramic views over the valleys. Afterward, zigzag through the narrow village roads and head towards the fishing village of Porto Moniz. Walk along the promenade which stretches from the natural pools to the pier, and find a local seafood restaurant to dine at for lunch. There’s also time to visit the aquarium, housed by the fort of Sao Jaoa Batista, or swim in the volcanic pools. Onto the Sao Vicente on the north coast, to admire this charming little town with its picturesque streets, and immaculately white houses. Visit the 17th-century church here and a park with a selection of coastal plants native to Madeira. Towards the end of the tour travel through the forest to the Encumeada Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain spots of the region, where you can marvel at the view of the north and south coast from the top.

Pico Areeiro - We start the tour in the magnificent Pico do Areeiro mountain at 1818 meters altitude. Ribeiro Frio - Here you will enjoy a small ( 40 - 45 minute) Levada Walk until a beautiful viewpoint. If you are not a walking person, you can enjoy this stop to visit the Trout nursery. Santana - This stop is the bigger one. You can take advantage of this 1h30m stop to lunch and visit the Santana village. Faial - At the Guindaste viewpoint you can admire the wonderful northeast coast view. Porto da Cruz - At this small village the stop is around 20 to 30 minutes. Here you can visit the North Mills Distillary and taste the local rum. Ponta São Lourenço - The ponta do Rosto is a must see viewpoint. Machico - This astounishing day ends with a passage through Machico city.

Depart from Funchal and travel by 4WD vehicle towards Madeira's northwest coast, passing a stunning green landscape to locations such as Serra de Água. Journey along forgotten and enchanted old roads and get a glimpse into the island's everyday life. Go to Encumeada, where one of the island's famous walking trails leads to Madeira's highest peak. Explore the diverse landscapes of Madeira on a half-day open roof 4x4 tour from Funchal. Following a pick-up from your hotel (available from accommodations in Funchal Central Area and Funchal Port), drive to Boca dos Namorados approximately 305 meters (1,000 feet) above sea level. Situated in the Sitio da Corrida, it’s one of the most important landmarks of the Jardim da Serra. Admire Nun’s Valley and Downtown Funchal from afar. Had a great Day with the group and the Guid Chris. We saw a lot of beautyful places, interesting informations and crazy off road tour. There wasnt to many People at the sights wich was nice. Would defenitly recommend the trip. And points to "true spirit" for plantning trees and giving something back to nature.

Everything was great. The guide was great. Madeira is a beautiful island full of beautiful corners. We crossed several of them. Thank you for a wonderful day.
